Jonny Locks record (1965)
Jonny Locks (b. Jon Astle, 1940) was a native of Fall River, MA. He and his brothers, Fred and Deke (and later his nephews), were stock car racers at Seekonk Speedway beginning in the 1950s.
In 1965, he recorded “I Know You Want Me Baby” and “All I Want Is You,” backed by Bobby and the Galaxies, a local bar band.Self-published; likely 1000 copies. At the time, the Seekonk Speedway helped promote the disc by playing it on their PA system each week. .
